add BBCode support

BBCode is more user friendly than HTML. And it's easier to learn and use.

Please don't use bbCode. This website is aimed at more tech-savvy users in general, so using bbCode would be a bit... insulting.

Perhaps a better option would be a live preview + WYSIWYG buttons. (Bold button to insert bold tags, etc.)

An option for to use either/or would be nice. I'm becoming rather fond of BBCode, myself.

It wouldn't replace, you could do either html or bbcode then

    Agreed with ecmanaut and jerone.

Indeed, it shouldn't replace the HTML support; to many scriptpages are using it already. BBcode as extra i wouldn't mind.

BBCode is more BBCode-literate-user-friendly than HTML, just as HTML is more HTML-literate-user-friendly than BBCode. If implemented, I hope it won't replace HTML.

Last time I looked at bbcode, I couldn't find a ruby library that implemented it. If this is voted up, I'll look again.
